Fellowship of Australian Writers (Wollondilly branch)

This is a small group of enthusiastic writers who enjoy the fellowship of like minded people. The group meets monthly to support and encourage each other to share knowledge and to improve writing skills. Workshops are held from time to time as well as writing competitions. Tahmoor Supported Playgroup provides a safe environment for children and families to socialise and get support from the Child and Family Worker. Information on child development, parenting strategies and other topics regarding children and families are also shared.  A referral is required for parents wanting to access this service. Referrals are accepted from support services or parents can self refer but must meet the specified criteria.

The benefits of having regular social interaction for people who are experiencing social isolation are numerous.
