Information & Resources

The Disability Council NSW
The Disability Council NSW (also known as 'the Council') was formed by the NSW Government under the Community Welfare Act 1987
The Council's main responsibilities are:

  • To advise the NSW Government on disability matters
  • Raise community awareness about people with disability and their aspirations
  • Promote the participation of people with disability in the life of the community

Youth Resources
Mental Health is about our ability to cope with day to day living. The Little Blue Book provides information about Youth friendly mental health services. Services are confidential and are provided by experienced workers who give common-sense information and options. The Little Blue Book was updated and re-printed in June 2013. This resource provides young people, families and community members who have contact with young people, access to information and services relating to mental health issues.

The Dilly Deal Shopping Centre Protocols These guidelines include clear definitions of what is acceptable and unacceptable behaviour for both young people and staff in Wollondilly shopping centres. These guidelines outline the behaviour we would like to see at the shops; how unacceptable behaviour should be managed; and how young people would like to be treated when at the shops.
